How long does it take for August pads to decompose?

Our Answer
What our doctors say

Most pads and tampons take 500-800 years to break down. Other than the tampon applicators, august period care products all the way down to the wrapping and shipping boxes fully biodegrade in under a year! The tampon applicators are made of recyclable plastic-- just be sure to wash them before throwing them in the recycling!
