What are gaps in menstruation education curriculum?
Our Answer
What our doctors say
Education curriculum usually explains what periods are to children, but not the longeivity of periods and how it can affect one's body beyond adolenscence. It often does not discuss the anatomy or the body or how to properly use sanitary products. Additionally some curriculums fail to provide information as it relates to people who are transgender, intersex, or non-binary.
