In what religions is menstruation viewed as unholy & what are the justifications?

Our Answer
What our doctors say

Ancient legends and myths have basically allowed for various religions to consider menstruation as 'impure'. As a result, people on their period are restricted in a bunch of different ways that affect their day-to-day life. Almost all all religions have some form of cleanliness or purification ritual once the bleed has happened. Sikhism is really the only main religion that sees menstruation as something powerful. Like August, they want to remind everyone that periods literally make human life possible!
