Why do we call them feminine hygiene products and not simply, period products?
Our Answer
What our doctors say
"Feminine Hygiene" was created for advertisers to get around the loophole of certain products being thought of as 'obscene'. Hopefully in an attempt to make menstruation more gender inclusive and seen as less 'dirty' we can eventually push to remove the label 'feminine hygiene' towards period products or some other term.
