August stands for dignity and respect, which is what the period space is missing. We believe that caring for your well-being is a noble pursuit that we can improve. And by returning dignity to a natural and powerful process and by operating from a place of inclusion, shamelessness, transparency, and care, we, at August, hope to help menstruators unlock their full potential throughout the month, every month.

Where are your tampons made? What are they made of?

Our tampons are manufactured in Germany and made from 100% organic cotton sourced from Turkey. They have a plastic-based applicator and open axially after being inserted. Also, all of our period products are FDA approved. 


Where are your pads made? What are they made of?

Our pads are manufactured in China and are made out of 100% organic cotton sourced from Turkey. They are plastic-free and 100% biodegradable within 12 months. Also, all of our period products are FDA approved.

What subscription plans do you offer?

The subscriptions are monthly or quarterly, which means that you will be receiving your subscriptions box every month, or every 3 months, depending on your choice.


How/when is my subscription charged?

You will be charged for your subscription once the items are already shipped. For all other orders, the charge will be processed at the checkout. 


Can I place a one-time order of August products?

Yes, you can place one-time orders of our pads, tampons, and liners!


Can I create a subscription with both pads and tampons?

Yes, you can create a subscription box with a mix of pads, tampons, and liners!


If I sign up for a subscription, will it renew automatically?

Yes, but you can modify it any time from your account on our website! 


How do I change/cancel my subscription?

Can I pause my subscription?

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to the US and Canada only. 


Where do you ship your products from?

Our products are shipped from our Middletown, PA warehouse.


How long does shipping take?

The delivery time is estimated at 3-5 business days and the tracking number will be provided as soon as your order is on its way!


Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free shipping on all subscription boxes as well as orders over $30. Otherwise, $5 shipping costs will be applied.


How do I update my shipping address?

You can update your shipping address through your account on the website.

What is your return policy?

We do not accept any returns at this time and all items are final sale. Period care items are hygiene products and our factories are not equipt to determine if returns are safe for reshipment.


What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay!
