Dysmenorrhea is the medical term for any and all pains that have to do with menstruation. If you are experiencing pain or irregularities very often, or having pain that lasts for more than 2-3 days, go see a doctor just to check in. Everyone's body is slightly different so it is common to have slightly different symptoms, but remember, severe pain is NOT normal.
Dysmenorrhea is the medical term for pain with menstruation. Pain is not normal for those who have periods, unless they have an underlying disorder or infection. Unusual pain is defined as lasting for more than 2 or 3 days. If you are finding that your pain is very severe and lasting for many days, please go check in with a doctor to check in.
