How long can you go without a period on birth control pills?
You can avoid having a period by just taking the active birth control pills and not the placebo pills (the last week of pills for that month's supply).
If you are experiencing any serious changes or thinking of changing your birth control routine, make sure to go check in with a doctor!
If you take the active pills continuously, you won’t get a period until you stop them.
If you stop taking active pills, you may experience a “withdrawal” bleeding which is similar to your period. You can choose to have a withdrawal bleed every few months or skip that all together!
