Is having large gaps between your cycle normal?
Verified by Dr. Jennifer Lincoln (she/her), MD, IBCLCOur Answer
What our doctors say
Oh ya! Totally normal for younger menstruators, people using hormonal birth control, people who are pregnant or breast-feeding, people with eating disorders, PCOS, pelvic inflammatory disease, and uterine fibroids. Definitely check in with your doctor if your period suddenly changes for more than 3 months.
