What happened?
On the morning of February 6th, 2023, a powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake disrupted life across Türkiye & Syria. Just 6 hours later, their communities were shook by another 7.5-magnitude earthquake followed by several impactful aftershocks.
This disaster hits especially close to home seeing as August period care is made from cotton grown in Türkiye.
