Certified in:

  • Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (ReACH): This certification aims to improve the protection of human health and the environment through “the better and earlier identification of the intrinsic properties of chemical substances.” What this means, is that ReACH checks to make sure that brands are using the most earth and human-sensitive ingredients in their products. They can require a company to remove or change certain ingredients or restrict their product altogether.

  • Oeko-tex: Our products carry the Oeko-tex standard 100 label. This means that every component of our cotton has been tested for harmful substances and is 100% harmless to human health.

  • The Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI): An industry-driven movement that aims to monitor and assess workplace standards across the global supply chain. The BSCI is not a one-time certification that you earn, instead, we commit to yearly audits of our supply chain to maintain and check-in on our labor conditions.

  • ILO: Forced labour exists in nine countries producing 65% OF THE WORLD’S COTTON, so our stamp of approval from The International Labour Organization is extremely important to us. This United Nations agency champions the rights to decent and productive work, in conditions of freedom, equity, security and dignity.

  • ISO: The International Organization for Standardization is an international non-governmental organization with a membership of 165 national standards bodies. They work hard to make sure that companies are meeting their international standards for everything from the environment. to food safety, to health, and more.

  • ISO Standard QMS 9001: This certification is for quality control. It’s purpose is to ensure buyers that the products from a company are at a consistent high level of quality. So if you buy a tampon today, you can be sure that the tampon quality will be at the same high standard if you buy one in a year!

  • ISO Standard EMS 14001: This certification means we adhere to a strict environmental management system, composed of the policies, processes, plans, practices, and records that define the rules governing our environmental impact.

  • FDA: The Food and Drug Administration is an American government organization that reviews all food, medical, and personal products in the United States. Its job is to certify that the benefits of the product outweigh the known risks for the intended use.
